It’s really foggy here in Felixstowe, so I thought I’d head down to the port to see if I could record some ships sounding their fog horns as they come into the harbour. Of course there wasn’t a ship in sight, but I got a few nice recordings of the waves lapping on the beach, and some children running about. And yes it was me that the little girl said “what’s the matter?” to, but I just smiled. She must have thought that I was some weirdo kneeling down by the sea. I don’t blame her.
